Rent Reviews

We undertake rent reviews for agricultural tenancies under the AHA 1986 and ATA 1995 together with residential tenancies including Assured tenancies (Housing Act 1988) and Assured Shorthold tenancies (amended by the 1996 Housing Act). We also undertake applications for the registration of Fair Rents for Protected (Rent Act) tenancies.

Farm rent reviews normally occur every three years and cottage reviews every two. We discuss any proposed review with the landlord, serve the relevant notices, negotiate the new rent with the tenant and formally record with signed memoranda.
