DESCRIPTION
Dating from the mid 18th Century, Hill House is a particularly attractive town house benefitting from extensive and versatile accommodation but requiring general refurbishment throughout. The property faces south looking towards Castle Hill and is situated in the quieter end of the town. Currently arranged as two three bedroom dwellings known as Hill House and West Hill House, the property would lend itself easily to conversion back to a large family home of six bedrooms and three bathrooms. The converted stable block known as the Gallery also provides a useful one bedroom dwelling to the rear.
In 2020, Racing Welfare obtained full planning and listed building consent for alterations and extensions in association with the creation of a centre for people of the horse racing industry including accommodation, gym, treatment/therapy suite and social spaces. It is understood that a number of the planning conditions were discharged but the works did not commence.
Most recently, the property has been a successful investment property and each dwelling has been let on an Assured Shorthold tenancy agreement with its own curtilage.
